when it should have done?

He was offered everything he said he wanted. If he really wants
more than that we must wonder where his desires stop, if they
do stop short of the complete destruction of Israel.

I was not aware that the US was infallible. Stalin committed
many war crimes but that didn't stop the US talking to him
or allying with him, because of political considerations.
The same applies to talking to Arafat.
