Jon, have you been reading what people like, for example, Gautam are
posting here? Have you listened to what your government is saying?

I have heard little else from those sources than talk about retaliating in
one form or another. People like Gautum would like to reduce a Middle East
country to radioactive rubble, and your government is talking about WAR.

I am not speculating based on my opinion of the US -- if there is any
speculation, it is based on what people on your side of the Atlantic are
 saying.

I've been busy, so please forgive the delay in response.

I've already posted one or two url's that indicate that our news media isn't
reporting that our government is responding by saying that we're going to
either nuke the Middle East or carry out an act of war that will murder
masses of civilians. I've been too busy to read the news over the last couple
of days, but I will post more (and reference my previous posts) once I've had
a chance (probably tomorrow morning).

Here's what I asked:

> Please provide reference articles post-disaster from valid news sources that

>East?

People like Guatum are not valid news sources. He knows people. Big deal.
(Guatum will probably flame me for that, but what the hell.) ;) Those
people form opinions, but theirs do not dictate government policy. John D.
Giorgis might be an exception to this. But even his voice doesn't matter
much in a government run by consensus.

For that matter, no one on this list, to the best of my knowledge, can be
considered a valid news source directly, although they may refer you to
websites with news reports. (Any hard news producers, writers, editors or
reporters on the list that I'm unaware of?) What people on this side of the
Atlantic are saying in anger, and what our government is saying is their
currently policy (by which I mean what they are going to do in retaliation,
if anything) are two very different things and not what I asked.

So, I ask again, what news reports have you read that indicate that we're
going to attack the Middle East?

I'll post some url's to articles with dissenting points of view as soon as I
can... I have 186 e-mails in my box and I wanna read some of 'em.

;)

Jon
