Yikes! I left something important out of the above.
I think some amount of overwhelming force should and will be used in this
instance to bring those responsible to justice. However, I don't think that
it will involve a huge number of US troops (tens of thousands, not
hundreds). I explicitly do *not* think we should just sit back and
out-marketize them - but that's an important part of a longer term strategy.
