Bombing children is evil, be it intentional or accidental.

What must be said is that *accidents* are a lesser evil to allowing
the terrorists to continue existing.


I think these things must be said in full: the USA killed children in 
Dresden or in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was an evil deed. But
it was a *necessary* evil, because the alternative [allowing the
Nazi regime to survive or killing millions in a land invasion of
Japan] was a worse evil.
