I read the paragraph again and I still see the same thing, and I don't think this was a misunderstanding on my part. It looks very much to me like you are trying to make them all equivalent. You said 'if Sonja commits a crime, any crime, and harbors the person who commits it, is she a criminal?' My reply explains that this can't be answered as phrased, because 'any' crime is not considered equal to 'any other' in the eyes of the court. (Another way to answer would be 'It depends on the crime.') In my mind, by asking this question, in this manner you are trying to say terrorism = stealing a bicycle in severity.
If I'm wrong, then I withdraw the accusation, and apologize for my misunderstanding -- but my explanation of how the crimes are interpreted differently here in the US still holds true.
