I wrote - there is no symmetry between Israeli soldier and Palestinian

<<There *is* symmetry -- you just refuse to see it. And by refusing to see
it, you give the impression that you believe Israel and the Israeli's are
superior to the Palestinians. :-(>>
Not exactly, but any individual-oriented, pro-life culture (however
misguided it is), is superior to group-oriented anti-life culture. And if
you want example - Judaism does not permit/support/encourage blowing
yourself up with your enemies for the glory of your God. What *I* believe is
that Arabs want to kill me. (I have plenty of evidence) and I feel justified
to prevent them from doing it.

<<For all intents and purposes, those Palestinian villages *are* under
Israeli control. That is why those regions are called "Occupied
Territories". I doubt the weapons in the average Palestinian village are any
match for a number of Israeli tanks and a group of heavily armed Israeli
soldiers. They certainly are no match for rockets fired from Israeli
helicopters.>>
Check you data. All this thing of territory A, B, C. Also check history.
Unfortunately Israeli army, however armed it is don't stand much chance if
it is not ready to erase those villages totally.

You are welcome to stay at Gilo for a week (incidentally - Gilo is not
"occupied territories")

It makes sense that the woman showed the cartridges, not the bullets;
picking up cartridges from the floor is a lot easier than prying those
bullets out of the wall.>>
If there were cartridges it means that somebody shoot *from* this house. So
reaction *was justified.

Jews and Arabs are Semitic.>>

<<You need to understand how the word "anti-Semitic" is used. When someone
criticizes Israel, there are always people who will immediately label that
person "anti-Semitic" (and I am speaking from personal experience here).
That does not happen however when someone criticizes Arabs -- or at least,
*I* have never seen that happen.>>
Which is mistake. Check your Bible. Both Jews and Arabs belong to Semitic
nations.
Jeroen wrote
<<To illustrate that point: I do not remember you ever saying anything nice
about Arabs. Your posts suggest that you feel a strong dislike (if not
hatred) for Arabs in general and Palestinians in particular. Yet, I do not
remember anyone calling you anti-Semitic because of that.>>
Why should I write nice things about Arabs. I believe that they want to
destroy my country and Palestinians are one of the ways. You *do* know, that
"Palestinian nation" was created in 1948? Don't you? Egypt got Sinai but it
does not prevent drugs and slavers coming through it's borders. The state
with Jordan is better - it always returns back idiots who cross the border
to Petra, although seven young girls were killed by Jordan border soldier,
who went unpunished. Also we pay very dearly for this peace - with water
that we don't have. Yes, I am pretty much anti-Arab. Not anti-Semitic,
because it would mean that I am against myself and I am not.

<<And for the record: Europeans as a whole are not anti-Israel. Many of us
just do not believe that Israel's politics are the way to go, and we do not
go out into the streets to wave the Israeli flag and yell "Death to all
Palestinians" every time a bomb goes of in Jerusalem.>>
Neither do we, unfortunately. In my opinion it could help very much if
Palestinians believed that there would be reaction to each terrorist act.
Jeroen wrote

see Israel and the Jews wiped from the face of the earth.>>
I don't know. Would you? You certainly behave in such way. At the other
hand, may be you simply do not understand. You, believe, that, if, Israel,
will, leave, "territories", it would, survive. I would like to share your
optimism.
