Agreed. (Section I)

A little vague. Maybe Section II needs articles to articulate what is
meant by "call on" and "undesireable conduct".

CC'ing to third parties isn't a bad idea. However, maybe this shouldn't
be necessarily included in Listowner duties. Maybe some sort of
committee of listmembers, whose membership should neither be restricted
to nor exclude listowners.

Listowners are chosen more for technical expertise and availability to
help deal with the listserver. The committee would be more likely made
up of people with people skills. (Not that technical skills and people
skills are mutually exclusive.) Opening it to folks who don't feel they
have the resources (time & skills) necessary for listownership would be
a good thing. If it got to the point where action by listowners became
necessary, the committee would report to the listowners and ask them to
take action.

Heck, maybe make *that* function an elected office, terms to be thrashed
out in later discussion.

This is about as far as I got on thinking about the specifics of
Jeroen's proposal.

Anyway, just a few thoughts.
