Well, the number of vitual particles is infinite. Restricting attention
to baryons, the number isn't known. It might be something like 10^100,
I suppose. That's not an impressively large number. For example, it's
less than the number of possible emails of this length.

(The previous paragraph contains 288 characters including whitespace. It
uses a character set containing something like 40 characters. Therefore
the number of such paragraphs is 40^288, which is much more than
10^100.)
