John, I think this is unfair. I just don't see this hatred. If a person hates, they want to see the hated one(s) hurt, embarrassed, put in their place, killed, etc. I have not seen Jeroen expressing such feelings about Israelis or Jews. I do see lots of arguments from him that seem naive, have a lack of relevant information, or display "logic" that is quite detached from reality. But I just don't see this hatred you speak of. Don't confuse fuzzy thinking and ignorance with malice. > When confronted with this kind of hatred, I will happily attack this > evil Happily? Evil? I think accusing someone like that and then dropping out of the discussion is not a responsible way to act. I'm not sure what your goal is in acting like that. My goals in a discussion are usually to try to persuade or educate others, or if I turn out to be mistaken, to persuade or educate myself. Sometimes, neither one is possible, in which case I just shut up when that becomes apparent. A parting attack shot certainly isn't useful in that case. -- "Erik Reuter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.erikreuter.com/
