First of all, he spoke of his godmother doing it. I don't think JDG has
the resources (time & space) to do so right now, and I'm not sure he's
ever had the resources to do it himself.
Second, he's not totally horrible. I'm sure that there's *some* topic
or another that you two would actually agree on and debate someone in
disagreement into the ground on. :) I just don't know what it is,
offhand, except for extreme examples. (E.g. along the line of Swift's
"Modest Proposal".)
