Look for jumper switches on both the master drive and the slave. Also you may have to enter the bios an monkey around. Some BIOS's have an auto-detect feature, some you have to set the drive manually. > Any ideas? Depends on how you partition / format the drive. In all actuallity, even if you can only format with fat16 (~2000MB limit), you can have up to 26 logical partitions on an extended partition (26 x 2gb = >52gb). With fat32 You should be able to. I would still create several smaller partitions on the hd.
