Well, here's a different link from an Iranian news source: http://www.irna.com/en/head/020409184913.ehe.shtml Norwegian Christians prepared to act as shields for Palestinians London, April 9, IRNA -- Christians from Norway are on their way to Palestinian towns to act as human shields for ambulances and accompany civilians in the midst of the Israeli invasion, an Oslo daily reported Tuesday. Vart Land quoted Jorun Kapstad of Norwegian Church Aid saying that such foreign intervention has already had "some measure of success." "Israel does not want to be seen as a perpetrator of atrocities - we have seen that with church representatives abroad, the ambulances get through more quickly," Kapstad said. He said that the intention of the Christians were to make themselves available as far as possible to people on both sides of the conflict, as well as to gain an insight to the situation. Norway's NTB television channel reported that a growing number of bishops were becoming increasingly critical of Israel's war in the occupied territories and that the Zionist regime may be about to lose support from Christian Scandinavia. HC/KS End The Norwegians are suddenly so terribly concerned about Palestinian civilians, yet we didn't hear a peep out of them when hundreds of Israelis were blown to bits while attending religious functions or commuting to work by Palestinian terrorists. Where was the great interest in justice and protection of civilians and ambulances when Israeli children and innocents were being murdered by fanatics? I take back the ambiguity of my previous post on the subject. There is a very clear double standard being perpetrated here, and I must say I'm in complete agreement with Marvin and Tom. If the situation were reversed, this certainly wouldn't be done to Arab Muslims.
