Alternatively, find a woman who is happy to let you go for a set number
of weekends per year to hunt and fish, and who understands that you need
this time for yourself, and that you'll be a better husband to her the
rest of the time as a result of your being allowed to do so. :) (And
let her go off and do her thing at times, as well. Dan had no problem
with letting me go off to Salt Lake City with one of my friends a few
years ago, because he knew I needed the break from everything here.)
But if you're going to go hunting and fishing on a regular basis, once
there are kids, keep in mind that she may need to just leave *everyone*
and get away for a long weekend once in a while.
