My gut feel is to go along with Marvin on this.  On the other hand, I
understand why its important to actually discuss issues that keep on coming
up. So, I'd like to make a further suggestion.  If Jeroen is willing, we can
create a temporary Yahoo list to only discuss sources of disquiet on the
list, such as this. I think a frank discussion could take place here without
violating etiquette.  This would have the tremendous advantage of

1) Keeping the list clear of this sorta stuff
2) Keep it from being a submerged problem that will reappear in different
guises from time to time.

If Jeroen is not interested, then doing anything is pointless, IMHO.
