Ronn asked
<<And what about the big question: Who gets Jerusalem and the Temple Mount,
which the hard-liners on both sides insist only they should have exclusive
possession of?>>

Jeroen suggested
<<Deny both sides the exclusive possession. If they cannot manage to share
those places, place both places under permanent UN control.>>

UN failed to guard lives. Do you *really* believe that it will succeed in
guarding places? And, as I wrote already - Jerusalem is capital city of
Israel and as things are now - Israel *is* sharing Temple Mount - Arabs
(from many Arab countries and from Israel) have problem with sharing. What
you suggest will translate itself (just as it was when Jordan had Temple
Mount and, theoretically, gave "freedom of worship to Jews") to Jews being
banned from the holiest of their sites.

Ilana, who can't understand where Jeroen's faith in UN is coming from.
