<<So what do *you* suggest? And what do you think will be the
consequences of implementing this suggestion in terms of peace and
prosperity?>>

Ilana
<< *I* suggest that somebody will make Moslems to behave in civilized
way.>>

Jeroen
<<Who exactly should that "somebody" be?>>

Ilana
As it is our capital - it looks like it's Israeli's chore.

Jeroen
<<What exactly should that "somebody" do in order to make "Muslims
behave in a "civilized way"?>>

Ilana
Your guess is as good as mine. I can tell what we should not do - we
should not give it into their custody.

Jeroen
<<And since you did not answer the second question, I will repeat it
here. What do you think will be the consequences of implementing this
solution in terms of peace and prosperity?>>

Ilana
Because I don't understand the question. I *do* believe that if El-Aktza
will be blown (thing that I believe impossible) after first outrage from
all the world (what's new? even if we do nothing, there is outrage) we
will have a chance for peace. Prosperity is a harder one - peace with
Jordan resulted with almost all our textile industry moving there - may
be it brought prosperity to Jordan - here it added to ranks of
un-employed.
But let's say that Israel would do nothing about Temple Mount, will
permit or not permit Palestinian state on West Bank. Either way there
will be war. With Palestinian state more Israeli citizens will be
killed, than without it. Of course we will win again. And will have to
re-build our economy again. There is very good chance that Palestinians
will not be permitted to work in Israel anymore, so *their* unemployment
will be high. UN will give them humanitarian aid again. And while we are
on subject of UN - I discovered some days ago, that "refugee camp" is UN
terminology - it's place run with UN help and under it's observation.
With UN help and under it's observation Jenin was built into terrorist
base. More reason for Israel to trust UN, don't you think?
