Giving or not giving custody to the Palestinians has nothing to do with
"making Muslems behave in a civilised way". These are two different matters.
You can not change the overall behaviour of people by giving them custody
over a piece of land.

That is highly questionable. Those among the Palestinians who want to see
Israel destroyed will fight anyway, regardless of whether or not there will
be a Palestinian state.

Can you prove that the UN actually *helped* with the building of a terrorist
base in Jenin? You cannot hold the UN responsible for something others did.
Saying "they build Jenin, there is now a terrorist base there, so the UN
helped build a terrorist base" is like saying "someone broke into my house
and stole my TV; the house was built by the government, therefore the
government is responsible for the burglary".

I sincerely hope your sentiments are not the sentiments of the Israeli
population as a whole (or of the Israeli regime). Because if it is, Israel
is in big trouble: you are not capable of solving your problems on your own,
and you do not trust the international community to help you solve your
problems.
