I'll second/thrid/whatever Watership Down, the Earthsea books, and the first 5-6 or so Xanth books.
Michael Ende's The Neverending Story Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn Piers Anthony also has the Incarnations of Immortality books - the first few of which were pretty good, at least. Neil Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels. -- I was on a Tori Amos mailing list a long time ago, and the Sandman was quite popular with the teen girls there. (I think it's great as well) Robert Asprin's Myth series is quite funny at times. Joel Rosenberg's Guardians of the Flame series Terry Brooks' Sword of Shanara series _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
