Welcome Gaganjyot! Sounds like you’ve definitely come to the right place.

That’s outstanding to hear.

Is there a reason you wouldn’t want to continue working with them again this
year?

Great. Please also join their mailing list and introduce yourself if you’ve
not done so already.

That’s an excellent experience vitae you shared. Glad to have you working with
us. Be sure to include relevant experience in your proposal.

Unlikely BRL-CAD if only due to the license (GPL is a no-go), but also because
it’s just a terrible format. This is basically like the .doc vs .docx
situation all over again. I’m of the opinion that we’re much better off in the
long term and as a community investing in STEP and other open formats.

If we can seamlessly exchange data amongst ourselves, and import open formats
better than the proprietary engines, our users will be better off in the long
run.

Cheers!
Sean
