My worries were not regarding that context. Of course three.js would be doing the rendering stuff. My worries were regarding mged when editing will be done but that were solved. I talked to a senior node developer, and also read about it more and concluding, node won't be a bottleneck while calling mged commands as it won't be node doing that computations but the BRL-CAD engine (via mged).
