My worries were not regarding that context. Of course three.js would
be doing the rendering stuff. My worries were regarding mged when
editing will be done but that were solved. I talked to a senior node
developer, and also read about it more and concluding, node won't be a
bottleneck while calling mged commands as it won't be node doing that
computations but the BRL-CAD engine (via mged). So node can fire
requests and forget.

There are computations on server side for the purpose of editing the
model files, and also for sharing those files.
