Isn't this almost exactly like what Camino did before Panther?

I didn't use Camino before the very end of Jaguar, so I wouldn't really know.


Didn't like it then, like it even less now. (Not that Panther's buttons make
for good Web browser tabs, but iCab's implementation looks pretty
afterthought-ish.)

I don't know about afterthought-ish, but I do like that it is uncluttered. Personally, I try to use the mouse as little as possible, so I am not a fan of buttons in the tabs (or buttons altogether, I don't have any in the main toolbar). Though, I do like the progress indicator so I can switch tabs and keep track of the pages loading.


I can't name one piece of UI in iCab that doesn't look like complete crap,
honestly. Camino can do better than this.

I certainly hope Camino can do better.
