I fail to see how a context menu and key command complicate the UI.
Most users never run into the former, and it can be argued that the
latter is "too hidden" to discover, but is used throughout the OS for
the same task. Are you saying we should have a toolbar button? I think
the best fix would be to make the Edit menu's "Delete" command work.
That's the Apple way.
