All Horoscopes: http://web1.nypost.com/cgi-bin/horoscope.pl
ARIES
You will be required to take on more tasks and responsibilities now that the sun is
moving through the area of your chart that governs the everyday services you do for
other people. It may feel as if you are being unfairly restricted, but what you do for
others now will be repaid in full later when you are the one who is in need of
assistance.
1-900-990-7810*
TAURUS
Life suddenly seems more vibrant and exciting, and that's strange because nothing much
seems to have actually changed. What has changed, though you may be unaware of the
fact for a while, is your attitude: Where before you tended to look on the negative
side of things, now you are determined to see the silver lining in each and every
cloud.
1-900-990-7811*
GEMINI
Your feelings may be rather intense today, and for the rest of the week, as the sun
moves deeper into one of the more emotional areas of your chart. This may at times be
an uncomfortable experience - you prefer to experience life more in your head than
your heart - but nothing bad will come of it, so don't fight the inevitable.
1-900-990-7812*
CANCER
Give your brain a rest today: Focus only on things that bring a smile to your face.
Sometimes you get too caught up in the rights and wrongs of the world and lose sight
of the fact that it is the way you think about life that determines how enjoyable, or
how difficult, it is going to be. Positive thoughts will bring positive results.
1-900-990-7813*
LEO
Watch what you spend today because if you go over the top you will regret it for some
weeks to come. Today's union of the sun, your ruler, and Mercury in the money sector
of your chart warns that you are not as well off as you seem to believe. Hidden costs
are about to reveal themselves, so don't waste your resources and leave yourself short.
1-900-990-7814*
VIRGO
There is no point in making plans at the moment because with Mercury, your ruler,
moving retrograde, they will have to be changed later on. All you can do is go with
the flow and trust that the tide of events will wash you up on a shore that is to your
liking. The message of the planets for you today is that you must always be flexible.
1-900-990-7815*
LIBRA
There is a danger today that you will interpret the information that comes your way in
the worst possible light and believe that the powers that be have got it in for you.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Your only real enemy at the moment is your
overactive imagination, which sees rivals and competitors where none exist.
1-900-990-7816*
SCORPIO
This is not a good time to commit yourself to a new plan or project, especially if it
involves friends or group activities. You may think that nothing can go wrong, but
with Mercury, planet of the mind, moving retrograde, your thoughts cannot always be
trusted. The more others pressure you to make a commitment, the more you must make
your excuses.
1-900-990-7817*
SAGITTARIUS
There is no doubt that you have big ambitions and there is no doubt that you have what
it takes to reach the top in your chosen line of endeavor. However, the planets warn
that if you act in haste, you will repent at your leisure, so don't be too eager to
follow your dream, because it may turn out to be a bit of a nightmare.
1-900-990-7818*
CAPRICORN
Your confidence may be high now that the sun is transiting the sympathetic sign of
Virgo, but don't let yourself get carried away. Today's sun-Mercury alliance may put a
rosy glow on your current situation, but there are things going on behind the scenes
that suggest you could be in for a shock if you take too much for granted.
1-900-990-7819*
AQUARIUS
You may not be the sort to get emotional about things over which you have no control,
but today's cosmic pattern warns that you could lose your sense of perspective and go
on the warpath about something that would not usually bother you in the slightest.
Don't worry too much if you lose out financially - you'll make up for it later.
1-900-990-7808*
PISCES
It is important that you keep the momentum going as the new week begins because the
moment you start to slow down, your energy will trail off significantly. Also, don't
attach too much importance to a partnership or relationship problem because it is not
as bad as it seems. A few weeks from now you will wonder why you got so upset about it.

FALLING FAST: http://www.nypost.com/sports/yankees/27363.htm
By MICHAEL MORRISSEY
You won't hear it from inside the Yankee clubhouse, but now it's time to start being
concerned.
Kevin Brown, brought to New York to be a stopper, did a Jon Lieber impersonation when
the Yankees desperately needed a Roger Clemens effort. That's what made yesterday
different.

THIS OFFENSIVE DISPLAY PUTTING SEASON IN PERIL:
http://www.nypost.com/sports/yankees/27333.htm
THE Yankees' final seven at-bats yesterday
defined their current state. Gary Sheffield homered and was followed by six meek
outs in 11 pitches. M-V-P followed by M-I-A.

DAD ONE-MAN SCREAM TEAM: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27365.htm
ATHENS As the blur of bodies sped toward the fin ish
line, Willie Gatlin suddenly heard a blood-curdling, eardrum-splitting scream, and it
wasn't until later that he realized the voice had belonged to him.

FORGET ABOUT IT: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27339.htm
ATHENS - Ah, Angola. Ah, the memories. Do you remember? Fourteen years ago,
as he eased himself for one of the most pleasurable coaching rides any coach has ever
enjoyed, Chuck Daly was enjoying an afternoon of give-and-take with the world press.

FROM GROUND ZERO TO THE GOLD MEDAL: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27361.htm
ATHENS - It never fails. You can rehearse the moment in your
imagination a thousand times, but your emotions never follow the script quite the way
you expect them to. You can visualize the view from atop the medal stand a million
times while pulling a million imaginary strokes in the rivers of Princeton. But it's
never the same.

HAMM STANDS TALL IN MEDAL MUDDLE: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27342.htm
ATHENS Good for Paul Hamm, for sticking by what he believes in, for not caving
to the knee-jerk pleas of pie-eyed dreamers who scream now that they want him to share
his gold medal with Yang Tae-young. To "do the right thing." They attack him with
daisies and doves and dramatic pauses, questioning his sportsmanship.

team a crushing 3-0 loss in a World Cup semifinal game last year, the two have been on
an Olympic collision course. The two world powers collide in a semifinal today in what
could be the last hurrah for the women who put their sport on the U.S. map.

 By DAVE CURTIS
When it's typed up and aligned just so and stuck in the PGA Tour media

TAYLOR'S NEXT FIGHT MAY BE IN COURT: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27330.htm
 By GEORGE WILLIS
JERMAIN Taylor could fight for the world middleweight

You know, like two of those Seven Dwarves, Happy and Stupid.

GYMNAST WON'T GIVE UP HIS GOLD: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27343.htm
 By MIKE VACCARO
ATHENS Paul Hamm isn't giving an inch in the controversy surrounding
his men's all-around gymnastics gold medal. So far, nobody is making him, although the
South Koreans, who feel burned by the whole process, are doing their best to keep this
issue on the tip of the Olympic flame.

PHELPS: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27360.htm
 By LENN ROBBINS
ATHENS Michael Phelps has exactly what he came looking for in these
Olympics. It was not the eight medals, six of which are gold. What Phelps really
wanted, and what he now has, is a chance to make swimming cool again.

ATHENS He would hurdle the fire hydrants on the streets of Brooklyn with such
ease they might as well have been cracks in the sidewalk.

HURDLE NAILS DEVERS: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27332.htm
 By LENN ROBBINS
ATHENS It is a scene we've seen too many times in her wonderfully
triumphant and tragic career. There was Gail Devers the woman who almost lost her
legs to disease writhing in pain on the track in Olympic Stadium.

THE REAL DREAM TEAM: http://www.nypost.com/sports/27337.htm
 By MIKE VACCARO
ATHENS - If USA Basketball would like to find a role model to help drag itself
out of its present morass, there is no need to look any further than the team that now
holds its one-time title of honor.

  By PAUL SCHWARTZ
ALBANY No contest. A competition Eli Manning can't possibly win. A
battle the rookie shouldn't even enter. The quarterback derby with Kurt Warner? Of

UNDER SCRUTINY: http://www.nypost.com/sports/jets/27345.htm
  By MARK CANNIZZARO
It's been quite a few days for John Abraham. The Post learned
exclusively that the Jets' defensive end was accused via a recent random drug test
he's subject to as a part of the NFL's substance abuse program of having a high
amount of alcohol in his system. If true, that would be a violation of the program and
subject him to possible disciplinary action from the league.

ESPRIT DE RETRO
By SUZANNE KAPNER
Esprit, the once-quintessential American brand that has been plotting a comeback,
is planning to launch a men's line this fall, The Post has learned.
The new line marks the first time ever that Esprit will be available to men in the

NEW OT RULES CLOCK IN TODAY: http://www.nypost.com/business/29267.htm
Paychecks could surge or shrink for a few or for millions of workers across the
country starting today, when sweeping changes to the nation's overtime pay rules take
effect. There is little agreement by the Bush administration, employer groups, labor
experts and others on how many workers will gain or lose the right to overtime pay
under the new rules in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

High oil prices, which have been a factor in virtually all U.S.

prices climb, the more risk energy costs pose to what, until recently, many expected
to be a banner year for the U.S. economy.
