Without a union (and maybe even with) our fictious company could NEVER, EVER compete with WIPRO and other firms from India that can do the same things for 1/10th the price. That is the reality of today. Sadly, no matter how much value-add you add you will always fall short on this one fact.
Maybe we should all move to India when starting this company. Now you can work for $1.50 an hour, you now have the experience of programmers who have worked 15+ years and you have XP!
