Hi Herlinda Your message was addressed to the canals-list rather than just to Judy. This group is set up to reply to the whole group is you click on 'Reply' rather than just the writer. I would think that this forum is as good a place as any to make contact with the people that you wish to meet. More than a few liveaboards are members of this list and I am sure that at least some of them are thinking about your house on the beach with greater or lesser envy. I'm a little surprised that there was no response to your initial posting. I suppose one of the problems is that narrowboats are relatively small and people might take some time to adjust to the idea of having an extra person on board in just a few weeks time.
