We call ourselves "boaters".

Wendy and I changed from being holiday boaters to being live-aboard
continuous cruisers just before last Christmas. We'd be happy to answer any
questions you have. We plan to spend most of this summer of the River
Thames and the Kennet & Avon Canal and would be happy to meet up with you.
Depending on when you're in the UK we mahy or may not have a spare berth
(various friends will be boating with us at different times) for you to stay
for a night or two.

We'll definitely be at the Inland Waterways Associations National Festival
(last weekend in August at Beale Park, on the Thames not far from
Reading)which would be a good place for you to find out a lot about inland
boating in the UK.
