Thanks so much for your reply to my post.

Please forgive me, I don't know my way around Europe at all and am
completely ignorant of the canal system and your location. This will
be my first trip! But the thought of meeting boaters like yourselves
makes me very grateful indeed. So I'll look your location on a map and
would very much like to take you up on your offer to meet and talk. As
for putting me up - no worries. I'll find accommodation I'm sure. The
important thing is that I'm able to meet and learn, as I plan on doing
what you did last Christmas - this coming Christmas.

Unfortunately, as I'm still in the "planning the exit phase", I'll
have only one month in Europe. I'll be in Scotland for the first 2
weeks, the UK the week Aug 3-10 thereabouts, then probably up to
Amsterdam at the tail end just before returning to Hawaii 8/20.

Would you be able to hook up Aug 3/4?

Again, I appreciate your offer to assist. I remember when I was a
ocean cruiser, taking the time to talk to wannabes. This time I'm the
wannabe :0)

Cheers
Herlinda
