I was told by one chap that BW sell the 48 hour mooring for the winter to
those who wish to moor there until the spring. Is this true?

Now for a moan, it was noticed couple of boats had no valid
licence's showing. Also a mooring that states no overnight mooring,
a boat has been there since the end of October! 48 hour visitors
mooring is taken by nearly all tow path shufflers. These are not to
be confused with proper continous cruisers, these say at one point
for ages when they are moved on (bit of a joke there) they move to
the next visitors moorings.
