Mike Carter, our BSC surveyor, recommends Comastic blacking on the 
bottom of the locker, with a piece of roofing felt placed over it 
before it dries, thus providing a cushion against the abrasion from the 
base of the cylinders.

When it wears through, stick another piece in.
