Yes...they make a bloody racket, best to remove all the light bulbs and 
anything fragile in your boat!
Use for more than an hour will give you tingly hands!
We only used air powered ones, which were brilliant. I can't vouch for the 
electric ones, that look quite bulky, but smaller and easier to hold than an 
angle grinder.
I lent all my gear to my steam engine society....that was back in  1988, 
when it was a Barry wreck. God knows if they still have it as the 
restoration was compleated years ago. I have never even seen it in stream 
and yet I own 1/200 of it!
