Why the forum is not closed for posting?

Problem is, people don't read. They won't read the sticker about
stackoverflow (or won't care) and they will continue to cross-post
everywhere they *can* post, just as they're still posting on the old
phpBB forum ( http://forum.castleproject.org ) right now, despite the
stickies and warnings.
I agree about the custom stack exchange, it wouldn't benefit anyone.

I don't see any value in custom stack exchange site.
SO works well, and it gets a lot more eyeballs than custom website.

That means potentially far more people can answer questions and
potentially
far more people can stumble upon Castle related question and learn
about the project.

I don't see why we would retire google group. It is not well suited
for Q&A but people
seem to like it, so I'd only put a big sticker in the welcome message
encouraging to ask
Q&A questions on SO but leave the google group as is.
