Tony, I forgot one thing in the last post..
The C-27's hull is solid and therefore...IF you want to replace the Transducer.. You can get an .. " IN HULL " puck.. Mounted on the inside with a good glue, NO futzing with new Through Hull installation..
IN HULL transducers work quite well for 200 Khz sounders .. And for reading depths under 100 feet.
