One of the ways to install an Inside the hull transducer is ...
A short length of PVC pipe ..Solidly installed on the hull and LEAK proof..
Then the Transducer is either suspended or hard connected .. INSIDE the PVC
pipe.
The Pipe is filled with OIL, WATER or (as Leslie has done) ... A grease..
The idea is that the Medium acts as a ..SOUND transmitting medium to the
Hull and Thence to the water outside..
There are NO voids.
Gluing the transducer down has the Possible voids you may have UNDER the
glue...
