Posted on behalf of Lydia Tabernero ---------------------- POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER, UK FP6-EU FUNDED Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work on the structure determination of regulatory protein complexes critical in MAPK signaling pathways. This exciting project is part of a multidisciplinary Marie Curie research training network recently funded by the EU: “ The Structure, Regulation and Function of Protein Tyrosine Phosphatases in Development and Disease”, that offers the opportunity to interact and work in different European laboratories (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp6). Suitable candidates will have a strong background in protein crystallography and biochemistry. This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic research team in the Structural Biology group of the Faculty of Life Sciences. The position is available from January 2007, and for up to 3 years. Candidates must be EU citizens (other eligibility criteria apply).
