I would try microseeding, you can do it on sitting or hanging drops, as
you prefer. I prepare some fresh drops, I usually keep the precipitant
concentration and I reduce the protein concentration (try several ones:
one third, one half...) I leave the drops equilibrate overnight but in
some cases a few hours is enough.

For me the best probe for seeding is a cat hair, some people use a cat
whisker but I think that is too thick and it takes too many seeds. If
there is no cat available you can use an accupunture needle but that
makes the process less esoteric ;-)

What I do it is opening the drop that have the tiny crystals, I don't
bother to crash the crystals, I just touch them with the cat hair, that
is enough for seeding 5-6 drops. Before dragging the hair through the
pre-equilibrated drops, I drag it through a few drops of mother liquour
to wash the excess of seeds. That step is very important because if you
put too many seeds you will have a shower of tiny crystals.

I hope that helps, try different protein concentrations and
pre-equilibration times and have faith!!

Good luck,
Maria
