Hi Torkell...

No problem with the e-mail, not to worry.

I posted here because because I wanted to consult Jorg. Apparently, Jorg has figured
out the problems associated with GoldStar CDR drives. My hopes are to figure out what
he did, try it on the cdrdao code and start enjoying burning VCDs (the VCD effort used
cdrdao right now). Probably should also submit it to the cdrdao author as well.

I have already posted the problem over at SourceForge.net under a cdrdao forum but
have yet to receive any follow-ups. It's been weeks now.

My guess is that Jorg has some GoldStar hardware he uses to test with and the cdrdao
fellow does not. Therefore it has never been a burning issue over at the cdrdao
development community.

        ...thanks, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
