I have have had some problems with disks made with cdrecord (using -dao) regarding
time indexes past track 1 (example: track 2 and on don't increment the elapsed
time). However, I have made at least one good disk. Let me work on it and try to
figure out what I am doing wrong before I bother you with it. It could be pilot
error (I might be doing something wrong).
Given I have been able to create a working disk using cdrecord (in dao mode), I agree
that cdrecord works and am quite excited about that.
What I wanted to know more about are the problems you apparently solved regarding the
GoldStar drives.
I have been trying to burn VCDs and the application I am using generates files
specifically for cdrdao. But my attempts to create a disk have failed. I am hoping
you may have already solved these problems in cdrecord. What I would like to do is
try your fixes in the cdrdao source I have so that I could start enjoying burning
VCDs using cdrdao.
