Thanks Warly. The binary from cdrecord-dvdhack-2.01-0.a15.2mdk.alpha.rpm doesn't work on my Alpha installation. Some library problem. I tried to compile it myself (only found the dvdhack source patch for 2.01-0.a14) and it seems to work. I burned a full DVD-RW with success. Now I still have to try it with a DVD-R, DVD+R and DVD+RW (I'm gonna buy one of each next week) and try it. Can I write DVD+R(W) with that patch? If so, does that patch automagically sees if there's a DVD+R(W) in the drive?
Is there a difference between your patch and cdrecord-prodvd concerning features? BTW: Does anyone know the exact specs of the Sony DW-U10A (write speeds etc...) Your kernel is a bit old also, maybe. -- Warly -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
