Are we still talking about ":-[ attempt -blank=full ]" or is it
something else? Version 5.6 and later should have engaged DAO
automatically in such situation and manage to burn. But if it didn't
[not even after media re-load], then it must be a firmware bug. There is
a way to tell. Marc! Run 'dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/dvdrw verbose' with
media growisofs complains about and submit output [I probably should
recommend to send to me personally so that public won't get bored by
rows of hexadecimal numbers]. And as already mentioned earlier even with
broken firmware, dvd+rw-tools offer working alternative. A.
