That's a fundamental difference between you and I. While I accept that there
are _many_ lazy people in this world, there are _more_ hard working people.
They may not be as smart as you or I, but they work just as hard, if not
harder. Heck, my job is cake compared to others. I can't remember the last
time I broke a sweat coding.

Um... no. Yes, the government has grants and financed loans for colleges. I
needed that to help finish my degree since I wasn't "rich" enough to afford
a public university. I'm paying off my loan, as do a majority of the people
who get them.
Again, why are you blaming the majority of hard working people for a small
minority of people who abuse the system?

You are so right! Taking care of a child is like a vacation. Yep, I remember
how much I enjoyed waking up 6-7 times a night to feed my child. I remember
how 'easy' it was to watch him _all_ day long. Man, you know absolutely
_nothing_ about what it means to raise a child. It is work, not a vacation.
Yes, it's worth every second, but it's not like taking a vacation. Next you
will say, "Well, this was your choice," and you are correct, but come on -
having a child is important to both the parents and to the world. If a woman
has a job and wants to take time off after she gave birth, she should be
allowed to w/o risk of losing her job. Not every family can live on just the
man working. In my family, we can get by like that, but that's only because
I am a very well paid programmer. Most people need both parents working.
These aren't POOR people, they are NORMAL people. Letting the mother take a
few weeks off to take care of her child is not a hand out, it's simple human
decency. Who would you 'allow' to have children, Paris?
