While I don't really have an opinion on Libertarianism, I do have a few
opinions about human nature ..

> Until we COLLECTIVELY want an end to world hunger and famine, it will NOT
HAPPEN!

You can't end 'world hunger' anyway. No matter how much food there is, the
population will always grow to push the limits of the food supply. True,
people are starving and dying and we have enough to share here, but no
matter how much food we share, the population will just grow to meet the
supply and you're right back where you started. It's what keeps populations
in line in the wild (that and predators). People don't have any predators,
so the only thing to limit their population are limited resources. I'm not
saying we shouldn't help, but the problem itslef will never be solved. Even
the countries that have plenty will run into this problem one day.

> Until we COLLECTIVELY want an end to these petty border struggles and
religious violence that happen worldwide, it WILL NOT HAPPEN.

True, but that's not likely to happen either. Fighting, it seems, is in our
nature.

Space and the wonders out there. You will never

Well .. I think if we can go without killing ourselves off long enough, we
will eventually leave this planet, but it won't be star trek, it will be the
same old crap just spread across different planets and not just confined to
one.
