Having read the Communist Manifesto, I think it kind of sucked on paper.
It's basically the Sermon on the Mount without any moral underpinnings or
realization that people are basically selfish, self-centered people (and
only overcome their basic nature through a self-willed sense of obligation
to a greater good.) In other words, Marx was a utopian, and like most
utopians, he really didn't understand human nature.

Communism was another theory that seemed great on paper, but failed
miserably when put into practice.
I think Libertarianism would fall victim to the same fate.
