I could see that for some people who take it for granted, but I bet most
would go for it, especially if it was like a one time signup fee or
something... I dunno... I know that it's a valuable resource and worth a
fee; or at the very least, a nice donation.

Nah, don't feel bad. Your lists save people hundreds and thousands of
dollars every year because they are able to solve problems very quickly from
the resources of people here.
I'm in a deep depression to, thanks to Sallie Mae who I owe $60,000. I go
bust my ass in college, earn a BS and MS in computer science only to come
out and find jobs in cities where the cost of living is out the roof;
"welcome to life" for me I guess. :-)
BTW, I am still working on that picture gallery for you. To be honest
though, I have been bogged down with side work that my free time goes there
and to planning my wedding for next year... I'll get it done for you though.
