I just think it looks really ugly, and not batman like at all. What ties
it to the batman mythos?
Certainly not the shape.
If you click on one of the images of the batmobile, it opens into
further images of batman himself. His cape now looks..well..cape like.
As though it is made of some thin material, not armored.
His mask also seems to be ..umm...a mask. Not armored either.
He looks wimpy and shrimpy and too 'normal'. *folds arms and sulks* The
other batman movies weren't that great, I think the first movie was the
best because of jack nicholson's performance....but I did like the
'Batman as Hero' look that they gave the main character.
I mean, they never tried to make the Xmen more 'realistic'.
Spiderman was Spiderman....
why does the Batman have to loose his aura of mystery and near
superhuman persona and be 'normal' ??
I don't really want to watch a guy in a bat suit that's all realistic,
if he doesn't evoke The Batman.
If to do that onscreen you need a bulky 'unrealisitic' body suit then so
be it! :)
How can they be trying to stay away from the 'comic book' feel when they
are making a movie based on one of the most popular COMIC BOOK
characters?
Who asked them to 'reinvent' The Batman in their own image?
That's like someone saying that the James Bond cars aren't realistic,
and he needs to drive a HumVee all the time in order to fit those
gadgets in.
