I'm making the distinction because the point I was making is that there
are some games that I haven't been able to complete because I don't have
the skill/reflexes to do so, or some games where cars/tracks remain
locked to me in multiplayer because I can't gain them in singleplayer.

I am saying that on the PS2 and Gamecube there are remedies for both
situations where one might need invincibility, or unlimited ammo etc. to
cross a particularly tough section, whereas for the rest of the game you
wouldn't need any help at all. For the Xbox there is not.

The broad term 'cheats' can be taken to include entering a code to
unlock new outfits, all the levels in the game, hidden mini games etc.
but such codes are not what I was referring to.

There are NO facilities for 3rd party gameplay cheat devices on the
Xbox, so therefore the PS2 is 100% better in this regard, since there is
more than one cheat device available for it.

Hence the distinction.

I'm not quite sure why you are making this distinction. Describe a cheat
that affects gameplay - do you mean stuff like invincibility? I don't
know
if I'd say the PS2 is better in that regards.
