been subscribed to this list since the war started :) But I'd
sincerely be quite interested in hearing from someone who has seen the
movie who did not already think Bush had to go. There may be a lot of
preachnig to the converted going on.

k, I've seen it now. It got a standing ovation. Granted that most of
those seeing it right now are probably the already converted, I still
don't see how it could *not* be a factor in this election. It demands an
answer. And so far none is forthcoming.
I don't think I will take my kids to see it. Not because of the dead
babies. Because my bright and beautiful daughter, who cries over Black
Beauty, wants to be a soldier. Let her be idealistic a little longer. By
the time she is old enough to vote, maybe the story will have had a
happy ending.
This film really shook me up and I already knew most of it, the pipeline
and the Carlyle Group. Somebody on this list, Nick maybe, challenged me
last year to prove that George Bush personally was making money off the
war. I couldn't quite connect the dots. The closest I could come was
Cheney and Halliburton. Michael Moore does connect those dots. If this
film tells the truth they should start impeachment proceedings tomorrow.
If not yesterday.
Frankly I would really love for someone to demonstrate that he stretches
the truth. It would make it easier to deal with the film and its
conclusions. Does anyone on this list speak Arabic? I know the stuff
about infiltrating protesters is true because it happened in Albuquerque
too.
