Lets see. Your father, mother, brother, sister, son or daughter can be
killed at any moment just for driving in the wrong place or eating pizza in
public. You've offered to give away land and water, the very bread of life
in the middle east in return for peace. You even offered to give away your
control over your holiest site for peace. And after all this the other side
says no and starts fighting again.
It looks to me like Israel was ready to give the farm, cows and all for
peace before this new fighting was started (and not by the Israelies or by
Sharons visit to a public place).
You want the tanks away. Then have both sides just stop shooting.
Let me take this home for you. What would you think if I was visiting in
Israel and was killed just for being there? What about if it was Ben? What
if it was Jeremy (to use someone not Jewish). DO we want peace? Yes. DO we
want an end to the shooting? Yes. Do we want to be able to visit family or
just attend a tech conference without having our lives threatened? Yes.
