I'm great at hiding it, when I want to be. Sometimes even my husband
doesn't know when I'm struggling. Other times (Kevin will attest to
this) I have the aura of a porcupine, and everyone knows to stay away.

I think forcing yourself to be with coworkers who are not also good
friends is unnecessary. But do be careful about becoming too isolated.
It's usually not a "good thing" when depressed.
