What it really comes down to, and Raymond touched on it in another post,
everybody is responsible for their own actions. Nothing more, nothing
less. If you choose to smoke, don't come crying to me when half your
lung is gone. When you spill HOT coffee in your lap, don't come crying
to me when you burn yourself. When you kill someone with a gun, don't
come crying to me about how the gun manufacturer made you do it or how a
movie made you violent. You reap what you sow. Be responsible, be
accountable for your actions.

BTW - I love this list, it's so great seeing everybodies perspectives
and it's so funny how we get started on one topic and it always shifts
into something else. Isn't freedom great?!!

No, you are agreeing with me - you just don't see it. ;) I said that cig
companies SHOULD be punished for any lies that they spread.... however,
people who started smoking yesterday, for example, certainly should not
expect to be able to sue the cig companies once they get sick.
