I'm sure you are right that there may be rights that Franklin never thought
of.  It's hard to imagine Franklin ever coming up with the right to know
one's credit score.  But these rights are really an extension of a
man/woman being able to fairly represent himself and tell her side of the
story.  And although I don't want to speculate what Franklin would say
today, it is with reason that the right to sue is essentially the right to
access to the court system.  My personally opinion is that the right to sue
is the right to a trial flipped on it's head.
